I have been serving as a pastor at Redeemer Baptist Church since its beginning in 2013. Prior to my ministry here, I served as pastor of First Baptist Church in Polkville, MS. I completed my undergraduate studies at Mississippi College in 2003 and received a Master of Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary in 2008.
I married my wife, Jessica, in May of 2003 and the Lord has blessed us with four children (Fin, Brown, Lane, and Rhett). We have been permanent residents of the Mississippi Gulf Coast since late 2012. I love to be with my family traveling, hiking in the mountains, spending time on the water, or just together at home. I try to spend a lot of time in the gym, drink a lot of coffee, listen to a lot of music, and occasionally play a video game with my boys. Athletics have always been an important part of my life and I am passionate about soccer, cycling, college football, and whatever sport my kids are playing. Most often you can find me in my church office, or at my dining table, reading and writing.
I began serving as a pastor of Redeemer Baptist Church January 1, 2017. Shepherding the saints of Redeemer alongside Pastor Aaron and our elders has been the highlight of my life in ministry. I received a Bachelor of Business of Administration from the University of Mississippi, a Master of Divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, and I’m currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry from Reformed Theological Seminary.
I married Emily in December of 2005, and we have two daughters, Haley and Grace. Most of my time is spent reading, collecting good books, and writing. I enjoy spending time with my family, hunting, cycling, running, and weightlifting. Outside of preaching, my favorite aspect of pastoral ministry is spending time with brothers in one-on-one or group discipleship meetings.
